As an initiative to foster globalization efforts, CNU offers diverse forms of exchange programs. These programs are contingent on the reciprocal agreement between the two schools.
Eligibility
- Official nomination from the home university
- Those who possess reasonable academic competency to carry out study-abroad program and meet selection criteria of one's home university.
- Korean language proficiency score (TOPIK or equivalent) of level 4 or higher preferred. For dual-degree applicants, TOPIK score is a must.
Program Outline
Student Exchange Program (6 months to 1 year)
- - Student exchange agreement with 56 institutes worldwide
- Enrollment in student's major-related department
- Tuition waiver at least. Other financial supports such as room & board may be available on the basis of exchange agreement.
Dual-degree Program
- Agreement with 11 institutions
- Long-term (at least 2 years) program allowing students to receive 2 degrees from his/her home university and host university
- No financial assistance provided from the host university
Visiting Student Program (6 months to 1 year)
- Similar to exchange program except that there is no financial support
Short-term Visiting Program (less than 1 month)
- Departmental Exchange Programs : Department-to Department reciprocal exchange programs based on faculty relationships. Great opportunity for friendship building and cultural exchange.

- Official Transcript containing official records of all post-secondary work completed

- Official Certificate of Enrollment (1 original copy)
- A Letter of Recommendation (Korean or English)
- A copy of Passport (ID page only)
- Test (TOPIK or equivalent) score (Optional, but level 3 or higher required for dual degree applicants)
- Health Certificate proving no history of tuberculosis (For on-campus housing application) DOWNLOAD
- 4 Portrait Color Photos (3.5cm * 4.5cm, white background, ears should be seen)
- A copy of international student health insurance (Optional, but strongly recommended )
* Note : To apply for either an exchange program, visiting student program or dual degree program at CNU, applicants should be officially nominated by their home university.
